FAQ

Everything you need to know about Dynamic Details.
Got a question? You’ll likely find the answer here!

Yes! It’s very easy:
1. Go to Settings —> Global Resources (or, if you want it only in a specific world, use that world’s Local Resources settings)
2. Activate both Dynamic Details and Actions & Stuff
3. Put Dynamic Details on top and Actions & Stuff below it.
4. In Actions & Stuff’s pack settings, set it to „Custom Experience“.
5. Done! You’ll now get Actions & Stuff’s animations combined with Dynamic Details’ textures and lighting.
Dynamic Details includes three subpacks:
- Vanilla Experience: The classic vanilla look everyone loves with Dynamic Details’ carefully crafted lighting and atmosphere settings. If you only want a visual upgrade without any custom textures, this is for you.
- 64x Resolution: The iconic Dynamic Details look including 64x64 pixel textures. A perfect balance between detail and performance.
- 128x Resolution: Maximum detail and visual fidelity. The ultimate Dynamic Details Experience.
Choose the version that fits your device and preference best!
If Dynamic Details is activated globally:
1. Main Settings → Global Resources → Activate Dynamic Details
2. Click the pack → Click the gear icon → Choose your preferred version
If you want it only for a specific world:
1. World Settings → Local Resources → Activate Dynamic Details
2. Click “Settings” → Choose your preferred version
If your device supports Vibrant Visuals, Dynamic Details can run perfectly fine!
There are 3 different subpacks for you to choose from: Vanilla Experience, 64x and 128x.
Vanilla Experience is the most performance-friendly option, using Dynamic Details’ lighting with the classic 16x textures everyone loves.
64x & 128x Resolution add the iconic depth-packed look. While 128x delivers the maximum detail and visual fidelity, 64x is more performance-efficient.
Unfortunately, not right now. Dynamic Details isn’t available on Nintendo Switch because the platform currently doesn’t support Vibrant Visuals. Hopefully this may change in the future!
Vibrant Visuals enables the lighting, shading, and depth effects that make Dynamic Details look the way it does.
Without it, these visual enhancements aren't possible.
Yes! As long as your Realm allows resource packs and all players have Vibrant Visuals compatible devices, it will work properly.
No, Dynamic Details is purely a visual enhancement (Vibrant Visuals Texture Pack). It does not change any gameplay mechanics.
Yes, although results may vary depending on the pack.
If you are using Actions & Stuff, follow the setup instructions above for the best experience! The same setup usually works for other add-ons as well.
Yes! You can activate it in any existing world and the visuals will update immediately.
Dynamic Details’ water looks truly cinematic: Subtle waves and realistic shimmering make it feel more natural and immersive.
No worries! Try reloading your world! This is a known Minecraft Vibrant Visuals bug and is usually resolved after reloading.
This is probably due to your current Gamma adjustments. Go to Settings → Video → Vibrant Visuals Options → Adjust Gamma.
We recommend setting Gamma to around 100%. If you prefer stronger contrast, you can of course lower it to your personal preference.
Screenshots are taken under specific lighting conditions, such as time of day, weather, and camera angle. Your world may look slightly different depending on your gamma settings, world lighting, or environment.
That’s fine! In that case, we recommend using the subpack called „Vanilla Experience“.
It uses Dynamic Details’ lighting and atmosphere settings while staying with the classic vanilla textures we all love.
To switch your subpack, follow these instructions.
Yes! The pack includes block and mob variants to make environments feel even more dynamic. We are currently looking into further developing more variants to make your world feel even more alive! Also… can you find the Creeper pumpkin? :D

In most cases, this happens because of resource pack order. If you are using multiple packs, make sure Dynamic Details is placed above the other packs in your resource pack list.
If the problem persists, try restarting Minecraft entirely. This usually resolves the issue.
Yes! We will regularly update Dynamic Details to the latest Minecraft version and are always looking for ways to improve the pack further.
